FS: Active Autowerke Signature Exhaust Rear Section
Hey there guys, I'm looking to sell my Active Autowerke signature exhaust rear section. I'm the original owner, installed at ACM. The exhaust has a little above 8000 miles on it. In very good condition. No issues or problems, no cracks or leaks. Exhaust sounds great, not overly loud or quiet, sounds good with or without an x pipe. Originally purchased for $2000, looking to get $1200. Located in Wayne, NJ. Prefer local but will ship I'm selling due to the e92 m3 needing to be the daily driver now and will likely be going back to almost stock minus cosmetics. The wife will be driving it much more as well and she's not the biggest fan of it. If interested, shoot me a text at 201-785-6657 for a more immediate response or for some additional photos or a video. Or you can send me a PM and I'll get back to you asap. If you're local and wish to hear the exhaust prior to purchase that's not a problem, we can set up a day and time to meet up if desired. If anyone has any other questions please do let me know. Thank you. $1200 Located in Wayne, NJ Text: 201 785 6657 -John

The e9x m3 drones between 1900-2100rpms and 2900-3200rpms depending on the exhaust. Even the stock exhaust will put out a frequency that would be considered drone.
There is no doubt the chambers help to greatly reduce this drone on this system, specifically between 2900-3100rpms. Especially compared to some of the other exhausts in the same category regarding volume/tone. However, at 1900-2100rpms there is still a lower frequency that many would consider drone, specifically if you are going up a hill. In this case a simple downshift fixes that. I would put this system right in the middle. It doesn't drone like a race eisen or gintani would but has plenty of volume and a nice exotic tone. At the same time it's not too quiet like a corsa or eisen sport would be. If you're interested in coming by to hear it, or if you want some videos feel free to let me know |
