nice work! coming from another SSII. What do you mean by 'jet sealed it' , liquid wax ? I use 100% solid carnauba wax and it's clear nothing beats it in pure natural shine, downsides are wax white dust and not for the very long term but good for 2 months.

EDIT: i noticed your doors plastic trim are chrome not OEM black plastic like on my CF roof E92. Is that stock on an E93 ? I wonder if this can be retrofitted to a coupe ? I do like my silver ZCP wheels a lot and want to replace black trims on the car back to chrome. Personal preference but I think SSII is at its best with zero black parts.

I use Jet Seal 109 from Chemical Guys to seal the paint, I use to just use Presto "Best Wax" which was 100% carnuba as well but it's so short lived. I find the Jet Seal works very for me and gives some good depth in the color. SSII isn't like a black or deep blue, it's hard to get it to look rich but it sure is nice for the reflection aspect.

For the chrome trim around the car, for the E93 that's the stock trim.

Bottles labelled with carnauba contain liquefying agents that undermines the adherence to paint during application and make it shorter lived. Have you ever used a good brand of 100% carnauba paste ? I use PS21 100%. Also there is a difference in depth even with 70% carnauba that i used before (not to mention cheap "formula" products). It's hard to judge by pictures but nothing has ever beat the depth of 100% carnauba on my SSII.
I looked up Jet Seal 109 after your reply as i like CG products too, thanks for the info. it's an acrylic based nano particles product. Acrylic does not give your car the same level of protection from elements than paste carnauba though it last longer. It's also what is used in fingernails and becomes brittle in below freezing temps. I am not a fan of any plastic coated finishes as it tends to diffract light in direct sunlight, that kind of depth is unwanted in my view i prefer the neutral aspect of carnauba on the color.

Well, I thought Best Wax was alright, cheap or not, I must of been thinking of another wax as I have done 100% carnuba in the past. I also have an ATS-V in black and to me there is no comparison in color depth when both my M3 and ATS-V are waxed with the same paste. On a dark color the depth is richer than a light in my opinion. I love the SSII color and wouldn't have it any other way on my M3, it's just an observation. I have liked the CG Jet Seal results as I am after longevity in the product over instant results. I don't have much time to spend hours on waxing up the cars. My M3 is garage kept and driven only 8,000 km's a year as an average (roughly 5,000 miles) so it's not really heavily exposed but I do like knowing some sealant is on there.

Vacuumed, washed, clay barred, and conditioned the interior today. Was too tired from some other work to apply paint sealant (Zaino) but will probably hit that tomorrow or next weekend.

Thanks! It's got about 54K on it now. I just bought it in May and it was really quite clean for a car w/this mileage. Excellent PPI too. Had to pull the trigger.

Applied leatherque to the car (seats, steering wheel, shifter and handbrake boot).
It is a two step process that requires quite sometime.

Step one, using the rejuvenating oil to lift up dirt and grime.
Will wipe off with the pristine clean after it bakes for 24 hours.
The pristine will restore the leather back to that matte finish like how the car came brand new.



Will post results when it's done.

Finished letting the oil bake into the seats and applied the pristine clean, wipe down with a warm damp cloth. Finally buffed with a drying towel.

Here are the results. Perfect.

Those are the Original BMW Winter floor mats. Leatherque has virtually no smell. I don't notice a difference in smell.

Just bought mine this past Thursday. 2010 e92 Jerez on black, dct, 88k. Had been reading on here and ordered the black stone kit. Sent that off this morning. Clay bared the hood, roof (carbon), and deck lid. Then waxed it this evening.
Stoked to see if I can bring it back to life as it's past owner (original) used it as a commuter and it shows. Interior is excellent, exterior has lots of sandblasting in the front and the odd parking lot scars here and there.
Been hard not to start ordering bits but I want to see how the analysis turns out. Anyone know what turn around time is for it?
