Steering rack replacement

My steering rack has started popping and clicking during low speed turns. I don't know much about it so I figure the easiest route is just replace the rack. Wondering if anyone has done this before and is there anything I need to know before starting the job? Can it be done without lowering the subframe? Any tips/advice would be appreciated.

Also, if anyone has a rack for sale please pm me.

Thanks

Clicking and rough spots definitely sound like a bad rack. Yes it can be done without lowering the subframe. You do have to remove the aero panels underneath... I have a rack for sale if you want to PM me.
