Is it possible to do remote resets? My headlight low beam went out and I replaced the faulty part ( ballast ). But the car is not Sending power to my headlight low beam now. I read my frm module needs to be cleared and reset. Is this something that can be done remotely or just by a shop ?

If the ballast was indeed the only faulty part and you replaced it, then it should be working again. If it's not then the new ballast is bad or there is another problem elsewhere. Any vehicle control module can be cleared with BMW software like ISTA. Even other OBD tools or apps like Carly can do it. It's not something that's done remotely.
