Will ESS retune for free?

After buying my ESS 595 kit I'm thinking about going back from HFC to OEM cats, which would require a retune I assume. Will ESS do this for free or will they charge for a new tune? Anyone have any experience with this?

I will call them Monday, but was hoping to get an idea over the weekend. They are closed over the weekend.

Should just email you a file with the change and you simply upload it with your computer/tuning cable.
Never had them charge me extra

They usually do that for free. They're quite nice about it

As far as I know no retune is needed. Only the 650 requires / recommends hfc or cat delete. I did not get a different tune when I install my Akra evolution with HFC.
You should be fine.

I would be going from HFC/straight pipes -> OEM cats

I went from OEM cats to HFC. Back and forth it can go. Unless your removing the SC the tune can handle both stock or modified exhaust setups. The higher up SC's may require HFC's but your should be fine without a retune.
Edit: Unless I misunderstood - If you need to pass emissions and need your cats to pass then, yes, they would need to be reset.
