Want my e92 m3 louder

Hey guys I just wanted some feedback on how to make my car louder. I had the oem exhaust mod done, but I don't notice much of a difference. I want some suggestions on what else I can do. Not looking to spend a lot. I was thinking maybe a resonator delete. Would that make an improvement in sound?Or maybe just straight pipe it, but I believe its illegal in California. Would appreciate some input and suggestions.
Thanks

Ask a friend you trust to drive your car hard past you while you stand on the street and listen. What you hear in the cabin is totally different. You may have already achieved your goal.

A lot of things are illegal in California haha.
Just delete both cats and keep the resonators and the sound is of a true exotic.
Mine drones pretty bad all the time.

Or do as you thought, remove everything and just run straight pipes...your lungs, ears and other motorists will definitely notice the difference!
Good luck!

Gotta say, this is very true.

I rarely let anyone drive mine. I run test pipes + eisennmann race and yes its loud in cabin.

Recently switched and put the oem X pipe while keeping the eis exhaust for smog and I thought its was stock-like in terms of sound...

When the guy got in it and drove into the garage, I realized how loud it was with just an exhaust.

This wasn't even pushing it.

Anyhow if you want loud, put some test pipes on it.
