What tune software to use on cat deletes

I want to delete my cats since I already bought the cat delete pipes but I don't want to have a ses light. What software do I need to reflash so I can run my cat deletes?

i recommend a Gintani tune, since you are in the OC they are fairly close to you. Hit them up. they have flash tunes and will remove the SES too, and you can raise the rev limiter and cold start delete and such. great bang for your buck... I run their E85 tune and it is wonderful.

yeah... i just got almost 400whp out of their tune. but yeah i can see why you wouldnt...

As I said, search is your friend. Of all the tuners, Gintani comes last in my book

any tuner (tune) in general will delete your SES for Cat delete besides Dinan i think? Evolve, BPMSport, ESS are a few. Gintani is imo one of the better ones. but i run full E85 N/A and chose them because of their great feedback ive seen with these engines. but again it is up to you...

I've had the ESS for a couple years and it's being good, started with test pipes and now I'm fully catless without a hitch...

All tuners are able to do that. In order of my personal preference, ESS would be the 1st. EPIC, TTFS, Evolve, BPM, can do it as well off the top of my head

Note that one thing is to turn off a CEL and another is to 'fake' the O2 sensors to be ready when they are not.

Another vote for ESS tune but I got their X-pipe so it was a no-brainer. One more thing, anyone can sell you something, but in my book it's how well they take care of you afterwards if you ever need customer service...Austin @ ESS is a true gem...he's knowledgeable and will make sure you're well taken care of!

I just had a customer service issue with a local tuner and it was a reminder of how hard good customer service and quality work is to come by. I've had the ESS tune on my car since 2013 and not a single issue with it. Every time I've wanted to contact ESS they've always responded in a prompt fashion.

The tune gives a noticeable gain. I have a 6MT that has an xpipe and is tuned and a DCT that is totally stock. The DCT car feels noticeably slower and it's not a problem of top end pull, it's all over the place.

Absolutely! Tune & test pipes were a definite improvement, going completely catless made it loud and smelly but I still love it!
