This is terrible timing for me. Just spent $1500 on E90 maintenance, $500 on a tube bender, and it's tax time and this year is pretty ugly so far.

Plasma goes for ~$80 and you can do it quite a few times a month. Just saying...

Let me know if you're actually interested. It's a very real possibility this year. Car is located in Corona, which I think is not very far from you.

Happy Monday everyone. Yesterday, redpriest and I took on T Hill 2 mile away, this time not as many laps as our first outing there (probably close to 200 between the both of us back in Feb) but still we got in quite a bit of lap time. Weather was over cast with occasional rain and a high of 57. Pretty much PB weather.

First time on NT01's and first time running a square set up. Wow. I've missed out, the turn in on a square set up is awesome I ran a 1:25.07 (PB about 1 second faster than my last PB in February).

At lunch, I switched over to my street wheels (ZCP on Michelin A/S) and ran a 1:29.4 (500 TW). I have to say I was super impressed with the A/S tires. Really better than I though they would be. 4 seconds off from NTO1's (But i have a ton of laps clocked in here in the last month over 150 so these times should of been close).

A/S were good for 7 laps or so before they got greasy. Kinda enjoyed the tires slipping and a little drifting again. Fun day for sure.

This weekend ill be at WSIR for the first time and is the last track I need to tackle before i've driven all the public ones in California. (I need to somehow do a Thermal day).

I am absolutely beat today. So exhausted. I was about ready to pass out when I was driving through Sac on the way south, lol.

Only did 60 hot laps instead of 85 the last time out.

Yea, not too far from me. I was half joking, I'm not ready for wheel to wheel stuff yet, but I may be able to provide support.

have any of you that keep your heat cycled out tires used any tire softener? does it help with cycled-out tires, or is it intended to artificially "lower" the treadwear measurement? i haven't heard much talk about its use on here.

This sounds like a recipe for disaster

I think most use them for car control practice aka drifting. I have a couple tires (daily driver) I will sacrifice on the WSIR balcony skid pad this weekend.

Anyone thats going to WSIR this Sat want to go to the skidpad? redpriest hayes180 PS: what groups are you guys signed up for? See you there!

how does sv categorize their groups? if green is a lower group, you're going to want to move up. willow springs can be a pain in the ass with slower cars. if you have to brake (or even an abrupt lift) in a high speed section like 8-9 or turn 2, it can be intense.

Green is the low advance (open passing). Never been here before so I'll probably stay in green. If there are less cars in red, I'll move up.
