finally installied oil catch can

At last, I made and installed oil catch cans.

I made adapters and caps instead of stock oil separators, then installed with aftermarket oil catch tanks.

Nice install. I get the purpose of the catch can is to help keep gunk build up from blow by to a minimum. What inspired you to install this on your car, any particular problem or just preventative? I wonder if this would reduce some of the fuel that shows up in our oil from city driving these beasts.

I don't know about fuel efficiency. Actucally this catch cans are for track driving.

Did you have a blow by problem you needed to fix? Some people have issues with power steering blowing out the reservoir but I have not read of engine blow by. Normally it's a forced induction issue.

I don't think so, but don't quote me on that. As I was perusing through some of the non-M3 braces, there were several that mentioned that drilling was required. This one, however, did not.
