2006 330I beater - Can't get INPA to see car, w/ M3 setup. Why?
Tried both with and without that adapter that makes my cable work on an e46. Also the 330 has some sort of termination plug on the obd port that I need to unplug first, never seen that before.
The weird thing is that my cable lights up then turns off automatically after a while. On previous cars it has always stayed lit while plugged in. Please help I want to code angels as DRLs and remote window up asap! Hehehe |

AE's as DRL is not possible on a 2006 E90 by the way. Make sure your Datens are up to date and that your cable is compatible with pre-2007. If it doesn't have a switch, chances are it won't work and you'll need a switchable cable for your 330i and M.
BTW congrats on the pick up! A N/A E90 sedan is the ultimate daily driver in my opinion Did you get the one on MaX?

K/D-can for newer E-series
D-can for older E-series With my K/D-can cable, I set it for either comm type before opening INPA/Winkfp/NCExpert. Also I have to pick my comm type within 2 minutes of plugging it in to my laptop and car. My 07 335 used the slower setting compared to my 2011 M3. Hope this helps.
