It was a good day for sure. First shakedown and I was able to shave 3s off my best from last time. Time to focus on some skills now.

She definitely handles well now.

When did it make the noise? I have a whining noise come whenever I turn the wheel full lock either side.

it was at it's worse before everything warmed up. most noticeable at around 2k rpm in lower gears. didn't matter (from what i was able to hear) whether i was turning or straight.

it's only been a day since topping off so i can't say for sure that it fixed it but it seems like it did so far. if it comes back for some reason, dct fluid flush is next for me. confident it's not the rear diff, as it's coming from the front end of the car.

Mine does this too - normal? My PS fluid is at the right level.

I don't think its normal. I started to notice it a couple days after installing springs.

they aren't quiet cars in general. mine simply seemed to have gotten louder than it generally was.

i don't want to give you false information so i won't say yes or no. if it's always been like that, i'd guess and say yeah it's just doing m3 things and i wouldn't worry too much about it. if it's gotten worse though then it could be worth getting looked at.

Are you on stock suspension? If so - any rubbing?

A/C crapped out. Awkwardly took down blower motor, cleaned/tuned it up (WD40), screwed it back in. Back in business! Saved ~$300-400.

Especially with our E9x series with "lack of free spaces", this is a MUST mod and don't know why I didn't do this in the past 4 yrs of ownership.
don't have to reach glove box or center console for the silly sunglasses
Nice! Need to get this!

Today I changed the differential and manual transmission oil for a first time, at 45k miles. Unlike many, I didn't notice any improvement in the shifting - still as notchy as it was before the fluid change. Also changed the engine oil, air filter and spark plugs. The spark plugs were looking almost like new(first change). What a PITA were the 4th and 8th coils to pull out and reinsert.

I realigned my Side view mirrors after finding this thread:

http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1115937

They're not 100% perfect but are a lot better than they were before.

Cheers

I lost my damn mind and took my car in for a ton of stuff this week.
* two new throttle actuators
* new alt
* new fuel pump
* new water pump
* new radiator
* install high flow cats
* Harrop Supercharger
*oil, coolant, rear dif and power steering fluid
* clutch stop
* new coolant expansion tank

Should be like a new car when I get her back.

Had a safe trip to Ocean City, MD over the weekend for h2o (VW/Audi show)
Now time to get ready for autocross this weekend as long as hurricane Matthew doesn't make its way this far up the coast.

Very true. Not sure what makes me want to treat this car the way I do. Its become a bit of an addiction. I usually just wait for things to break, but with the SC install, I want everything to be just right.

if it's become an addiction, i'd be happy to enable it a bit further and let you take my car for your next fix
