Any idea what's different about the e92 quick fit pro kit vs the e90 kit? Perhaps the driver-side portion that remains in the car?

Not sure, The buckles that attach to the car use the rear outside bolt on the front seat, and the rear lower passenger seat belt bolt. Those should be basically the same and the straps are adjustable. I doubt there is any real difference between sedan vs coupe.

I wouldn't be against splitting them if someone else was interested in the other harness.

E92 Schroth Quick Fit Instructions

Pages 5-6 show the E92 attachment points for the lower outside belt portions. I believe the attachment point is different for the E90/E92 but the Schroth harness piece that attaches actually looks the same. I believe you're correct that this kit will likely work for either car.

Nice find. Yeah so the only difference looks to be that the E92's use the bracket that the seat belt bolts onto, instead of the E90's that use the rear outside bolt on the seat bracket. Those look to be only a few inches apart which can easily be adjusted for with the harness itself.
