Got off the phone with Discount Tire. Looks like the tires were cleaned out last night but Nitto has them. Two of my five are shipping now, but the other three will get here in 9-10 business days.

I also see that Nitto & Discount Tire has a rebate for $70 off a set of 4 tires. I am not sure if you can stack that with this deal. Just an FYI.

I think being able to do separate orders in pairs of 2 to get $100 off each is pushing my luck far enough, hehe.

they gave me some nonsense on the phone that they give a discount of $50, and ebay does the other $50. sounded like bullshit, so i'm on the phone with them again...

edit- just talked to a second guy. same story, he advised to watch the site though, because they are going to have to place a huge order through nitto to keep up with the demand.

I took advantage of the sale and ordered some NT-05 to use for Auto X this season. They sold out of Pilot SS in the first day.

I have heard the complete opposite about them except they are not the best in the rain. Which I am not worried about.

Only three tires showed up. One of the bundles of two tires was separated during UPS shipping. Discount Tire said the NT-01s are sold out but they would find one and ship it ASAP. Hopefully, my current set will last me through the NASA event at MSR next weekend.
