I'm still committed to giving out the data, but it will likely be hundreds of gigabytes and I won't be writing any log analysis programs. So anybody who downloads the logs will be on their own to figure out how to analyze it. There's just no reason for me to benefit m3p and spend all my time if I can't even participate in the discussion.

If you guys want the information and data that is being collected from the testing, message Jason and let him know that RG should be reinstated so that the community can benefit from the testing being done. No one as of yet has invested nearly as much time and resources into the S65/S85 platform as RG has....... It is a shame we all can't get the information because of this ban.

I'm relatively new to the forums and its politics. How does a good contributor like RG get banned?

I've been here 8+ years, and this is why it's sometimes called: lilbitchfest.com

But you can still read self-congratulatory, novel-length posts from an engineer who installed his big brake kit backwards.

Not only did he install it backwards, he then continued to argue with me that there was no risk of having air in the system and that it wasn't a big deal that the bleeder was at the lowest point on the caliper.

In the bearing wiki post #4, the factory Clevite 088/089 bearings were 0.00135 clearance, and 0.0040 at 90 degrees. The VAC Clevite custom bearings were were 0.0022 inch clearance, and 0.0046 at 90 degrees. Factory non-Clevite 702/703 bearings were 0.0015 inch clearance, and 0.0060 at 90 degrees. So it sounds like the BE Bearings are exactly where they should be.
I an incredibly keen to know how you or any one else can say these new bearings have an eccentricity "exactly where they should be". Eccentricity is in large part governed by rod big end distortion under maximum loading conditions. No one here as any clue as to how much distortion happens here nor which eccentricity of the two BMW designs is better or better matched to the S65s rod dynamics.

Not sure how many times it needs repeating but - they are guessing and if they end up right it is for the wrong reasons.

You cling to this (partly false) anecdote like Linus clings to his little blue baby blanket. How comforting it must be to you that I once wrenched on a car part incorrectly. Oh the horror... But how is it exactly that one mistake disqualifies someone from any expertise or credibility on a largely unrelated topic? It is exactly this kind of petty, knee jerk and clearly flawed reasoning/logic that folks like you try to use as some valid form of debate.

Perhaps you need to be reminded that you have made mistakes too? Here in your posts on the forum and in your position as an engine technician (as well as likely in just about every other domain in your life). What does that make you - human, just like the rest of us. Surprise, surprise. Does this alone make you wholly unqualified or not to be trusted on all things engines? This truism applies equally as well to all of the primary actors here in this debate.

Since this does not discredit me nor my participation in this debate the only thing that can really be concluded from it is that you are petty, insecure and a quite poor debater.

Last but not least I guess I can take your prior outreach below via PM now to be completely hollow bullshit? How quickly the true hypocrit in you comes out... Well I guess it is that or perhaps you just have a very short memory...

I am sure you have a wealth of info to offer to the discussion, and I feel I do to. The issue I have is that the forums are not the best place for discussion sometimes, emotions run wild and the audience loves the drama so they egg us all on.

Anyhow, I would like to take this opportunity to apologize for any of the inappropriate statements I have made towards you in the past. I respect your knowledge but sometimes I wish your delivery was a little different, as I am sure you wish was mine.

You did not change your ways and still make the same type of "I'm smarter than you comments" in threads I participate in so what is my motivation to try and bury the hatchet? I am no more a hypocrit than you are.

I could be wrong but my current understanding is that he can't post, not that he doesn't want to post. He apparently wants to share his findings.

My understanding is that whatever he posts, there will be the bitchfest that occurs here daily. He can share his findings anywhere if he wanted.

We probably posted before we saw BMRLVR's and Kawasaki00's post because the answer is in those posts.

Don't be so modest. Write a book about it and tell us how great you are in insufferably boring long winded prose. Let us know how smart you really are and much we need you to keep the thread on the right track. If you were a podiatrist who mixed up his feet, you would have more in common with a certain engineer.
