glad to hear it... i picked up a set of 305/30/19 michelin pss' for my zcp wheels. i'll be removing my 10mm spacers in the rear. i'm sure it will be a tight fit, but i'll have to report back with my findings. i'll be tracking on 02/21, so that will be the ultimate test.

There's a large group of 255/275 users and a handful of 265 or 275/295 users on ZCP wheels. And there's even a few on here with 285s.I run 275/295 in PSS on the street only and love it, and those I've spoken to who have used a similar combo seem to approve of the wider sizes as well, even on the track. |

Going solely off my personal preference, I like 265/30 and 275/30 the best in AD08R. 255/35 rubs the front portion of the fender liners. I wanted more grip at the nose without wearing a hole through the liners.
BTW, this is on 19x9 and 19x10 RZ-DF so offsets are a tad bit more aggressive than stock ZCPs. ET is 22mm so factor in a 10mm spacer up front.

Was looking at tread width on a few tires... People seem to like the look of that ContiSportContact 5P in a 285/30/19 on a ZCP rear wheel... the tread width on that tire is 10.4" ... The tread width on the 295/30/19 PSS is 11.5" -- very squared shoulders giving it the appearance of a muffin top on a 10" wheel... BUT, I was looking at the Michelin PS Cup 2 tire in the same 295/30 size... its tread width is only 10.5" -- an entire inch less than the PSS!!...And only 0.1" wider than the 285 Conti tire. I wonder if it would look pretty similar to that? I'm not a huge fan of the 295 PSS on the ZCP 10" wheel... Thoughts anyone? For the front, you'd either have to run the 255/35 or 265/30.. no other options.

Hey guys! Need some help with wheels fitment. I'm thinking on getting a set of 359 ZCP wheels with AD08R 255/35 front and 295/30 rear. Will it fit perfectly or will be rubbing and etc!?
Thanks in advance! |

Perfect fit, the ad08 are a better fit than the PSS, they have less muffin top look. You can run a 5mm spacer on the front. It will just brush the liner.

This thread was exactly what I was looking for as I have been wondering the same thing.
Biggest tire size I can go on ZCP rims with stock everything on the car. Sounds like 255/295 PSS works without any rubbing issues? Car has ZCP package otherwise stock suspension. I don't want any rubbing and not interested in doing suspension mods like springs etc. What's my best bet? |

It looks like some on here have done that combo but I'd be a little concerned with the 40mm difference in stagger between the front and rear versus the stock 20mm. Might yield increased oversteer, though I don't personally have experience with it. My thought would be if you're going to do 255 up front, do 275 in the rear. If you're going to do 295 in the rear, either do 265 or 275 up front. I run a 275/295 PSS combo and I like it, though you will get more tramlining with the wider tire up front.

Would exhibit more understeer, not oversteer.

I've got a 2011 ZCP E90 M3 running 359's with PSS--255/35-19 fronts and 295/30-19 rears. (I inherited the car with this setup. Thx, ssabripo!
)Great fitment. No bulge or muffin-top in the rears. Loads of traction. I don't track the car but have not had any issues with understeer. Highly recommend setup! In fact, I like the configuration so much I'm putting on a set of 513's for winter with Continental ExtremeContact DWS 06 265/35-18 fronts and 295/35-18 rears |

Yes sorry that's what I meant!
Just curious, what would be the reasoning to go with a 255 tire up front instead of a 275 with a 295 rear, at least on a 9" wide ZCP wheel? Sharper/tighter steering feel since the narrower tire has more stretch/rounder sidewall? |

Putting a 305 tire on a 10" wide rim defeats the purpose, you are pinching the tire to the point of lifting the footprint off the road. Max recommended tire width for a 10" wide rim is a 295 width tire, and even this isn't optimal. Minimum rim width for a 305/width tire is 10.5", once again even this isn't optimal.

I’d love to see additional pics of ZCP wheels with big rubber 275/30/19 and 295/30/19.
Cheers |
