Granted I don't have this tune anymore but I did have it for a few months and I didn't notice any overheating. I always keep an eye on the Temp gauge and it was moving the same way it always did.
What made you get rid of it?

If your flashing a raw file I would suggest thinking it over. It will cause much wear over time. Shift timing must be adjusted.

Just had my car upgraded by Alex. If you have DCT, you should definitely upgrade it to the GTS revision. No more clunk in reverse, D mode is default mode (instead of S), and the shifts are much crisper.

The other updates are just butter. No more i-drive disclaimer, auto folding mirrors, auto unlock, and Euro MDM to name a few.

Thanks Alex!

Alex, I didn't know that you now provide remote tuning (not referring to coding). I am in north cal and would be interested + DCT update if this service is still available remotely. Let me know. Thanks!

Have to give Alex a nod. Thanks to him, I just had the best drive home ever! Couldn't help but smile the entire way.

Great guy with incredible service!

I did the same thing a couple months ago, forgot to come back here and give the nod myself.

GTS DCT, euro MDM, 241E, no iDrive disclaimer, automatic: unlock/folding mirrors/windows up. Some of the best changes that can be made to one of these cars.

I drove up from San Diego after hours on a weekday evening and Alex met me at the shop to do the coding in the parking lot. One of the best drives back from LA that I've ever had, and I'm still grinning ear to ear every time I drive the car.

Hmm has anyone been to a 1/4 track before and after the tune? I'd be curious how big of a difference this tune makes.

I'd be surprised if it made the car much faster. The difference is going to be extremely small if you're talking about straight line speed.

I agree, I don't think it would make a big enough difference to be noticed over all the other variables at play in a 1/4 mile strip.

Can Rev-Matching be Removed?

Is it possible to get a custom DCT tune that eliminates rev-matching in S4 mode, but keeps the rest of the regular, non-GTS settings?

Unfortunately, I don't have an answer to your question. But I am curious why you'd like to remove the rev-matching in S4. Cheers.

I really like the shifting speed of S4 around town, but the rev-matching downshifts approaching a red light in city traffic usually comes off as obnoxious. I still want to keep rev-matching for S5 and S6. Searching through posts I've only seen a handful of pre-set tunes advertised for the DCT, but I haven't come across custom requests for turning rev-matching on or off. Wondering if this is something similar to a check box in the DCT programming that is easy to tweak.

The regular DCT file will give you what you're looking for, because S3 suddenly works like S4 used to, but without the rev matching.

I just had Alex flash my DCT tonight and I have to tell you the difference is huge!! As everyone on here claims.. quick shifts and no slip. Under WOT it kicks in I love it! No jerking when downshifting to 2nd gear like it did before and I tried it thought D and S mode in any setting I was surprised but it doesn't jerk when downshifting into any gear! I love the tune and don't understand why our cars didn't come with it stock!!
Alex works quick.. remotely I just plugged in my OBD II into my car and MacBook and sat down talking to my friend.. about 30 min later it was all done!
I'm very satisfied!!
thanks Alex!
