I have Dinan and absolutely love it! Absolute no drone and just the right amount of loud for me. Some might say it's a little too loud but I think it's just right.

I bought the Dinan; it has a better sound than the BMW MPE, doesn't drone due to the Helmholtz chamber and makes a few ponies to boot.

The Akra will "drone" at around 1800-2200 RPM. It's not unbearable but it does have a very low and boomy frequency at those RPM's.
The sound on the high ends of the RPM range are great to hear (I'm talking EVO system because I don't have experience with the fully catless system) and sounds even better when the system is heated up. |

I have the MPE combined with fabspeed's catless primary and secondary catless and resonatorless x pipe. It is a orchestra of decibels and hydrocarbons. No drone at all but 3000 rpms and up it is nasty. Cold start is ridiculous. It is not neighbor friendly.

Another plus is that there is absolutely no drone and you hardly know it is there until you get on it. |
