Can't rev past 4000rpm CEL!!
Hi all,
Tonight when I was driving home, my car went into limp mode and have a CEL. I use a OBD II reader and found P157F. I tried to search but can't find too much info. Any ideas? Thanks very much! |

If you google the code, it looks like a throttle actuator is on it's way out - or has already failed.
If possible, see if someone with a more specific code reader can tell you which bank it is - if it's an actuator at all.

Sounds like throttle actuator to us, trying to remember off the top of our heads.

Thanks all. I think it's the throttle actuator as well. So I clear the code and it didn't come back yesterday. It's not dead yet but it's going for sure. Now I just have to wait for the code to pop up and drive to the stealership.
