Thanks for viewing! Yes I really like the wheels (again minus the paint quality). Wheels were one of the main things I like about the competition package.

So interesting day today. Went for a 'leisurely' drive with my dad in his '69 GT500 and the thing damn near caught on fire... He's really bumming right now so keep him in your prayers lol. Didn't have time to do pics with the weather tech floor mats (as if they're so exciting to see) but will get to them tomorrow, promise.

if you use a sealant or coating on your wheels you won't need anything more than soap and water to clean them. with a coating you could probably get 80-90% of the dirt off your wheels with a pressure washer.

Welcome to the forum! The car looks really good and very well taken care of!

If you still fancy a CF roof, maybe you should consider having it vinyl wrapped. I have the CF roof but had the rest of the car vinyl wrapped (http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1140068). I imagine a CF wrapped roof wouldn't look too bad.

Drive safe and lots of more fun with the car to you.

Due to my very strong mechanic skills, I was promoted to flashlight duty. Both the brakes and the transmission gave out. Unfortunately the car will not be running for a very long time.

Your car looks great! I am considering a gloss black roof to match the moon roof. Or maybe gray and have the wheels be gray to match? But then I won't be able to match the moon roof to the rest of the roof. Oh and sick bike!

Got pics of the WeatherTech floor mats! These are digi-fit or whatever the more expensive model is. BTW they are the same fit for all 3 series coupes.





There are definitely pros and cons to these mats.
PROS
You won't ever ruin your precious M3 embroidered mats
You don't have to be careful when getting in your car
Easy to clean up (wet rag and quick wipe down - not including inside the little fluid channels - is much faster than getting a vacuum cleaner out)

CONS
They are slippery (if your shoes have soles on it then it won't be much of a problem - be cautious of what cleaners you use on the mat as some products are oily and will make it a slip and slide).
They get dirty fast (any small amount of dirt on your shoes will show up quickly, but can wipe off easily).
Annoying to clean fluid channels (at least I think that's what they are - don't spray a cleaner directly onto the mat unless you want to spend time to wipe everything off).
Passenger side is not optimal (it does not extend far and you can see where the mat ends while sitting in the seat). I kept my M3 mats in for the passenger to give a passenger the full M3 experience by seeing the M3 logo on the mats Driver side is definitely better than passenger side.

These were a gift given to me and I won't be removing the driver side mat anytime soon, but I don't know if I were to buy these myself. If you live in a wet area then of course these are perfect for you, otherwise I would just use carpet protector and regularly vacuum the seats.

Manda, opti glossed the wheels today. When they cure and I get them mounted, I'll let you know how they hold up to brake dust. Since you're still using opti coat, I'm sure your results will absolutely be better than mine. This stuff was so easy to apply. I did all 4 wheels and barrels within an hour and that was including beer breaks.
