From what I've read, BMW should only charge $2500-3000 for the repair and indy shops around $2000 so your quotes are pretty high.

I wasn't there so I am not exactly sure but they said that they only had to partially drop the trans and were able to access the side pan.

Yes.
My car also need the 2 high pressure hoses replaced and they are 200 bucks each.. bmw quoted me 14.5 hours of labor and that is what the local indy is using. Do you happen to have the parts list of the replaced items?

HI, mine also found some leaking from oil pan and side pan... And my warranty just expired one week ago . Actually I can change the oil pan by myself, but I can not change side gasket since its need to drop the whole transmission, anyone know any good shop to change it in LA area with reasonable price?

Just got mine fixed out of warrenty. It seems there's a technical service bulletin for the ossue 280114. It detailed how to diagnose the issue and all the different sources of the leak.
