Tune options

Basically it's like this. The number one thing I'm in search of is something that will delete secondary air. I want to avoid SES for future inspections and I could care less about that system as it does nothing for me and my other monitors set just fine.

I'm also looking for something that will not deactivate rear O2's. I'll be doing a cat delete, but I don't want to deal with not having oxygen sensors off since I'll be using simulators.

Finally - safe performance. I want something that will make this car even more fun, but not at the expense of destroying my motor. I get that this is an inherent risk with any tune, but I'd like the "safest" option in regards to improving performance.

Like I said, secondary air delete is a must. I don't feel like replacing the check valve. If rather just plug both holes and pull the system out.

Anyone have some advice?

Our tuning software will work perfectly, If you plan on using sims, then I wouldn't opt for the cat delete in the tune, you can just do the secondary air delete. If you don't use the sims, then I would opt for both. There is really no reason to use the sims with proper software, but it's up to you. If they are working fine and are already installed, then there's no harm in keeping them.

Our software is safe and reliable and will extract any power left on the table without pushing limits. Reliability always comes first.

I saw some of your other posts and was interested in you guys. Do you have a tune that can force an O2 to stay active and set monitors without setting the light off and not using simulators? If my monitors can set as ready without simulators, I would do that. I just don't want them to stay as incomplete once my inspection is due.

Honestly after weeks of googling and reading i went with BPM sport. Mike sent me 2 tunes, First map is what you are looking for and second is more power for future exhaust mods. plus he customized the map to my the exact fuel spec to get the best performance without harming the engine. The car is more fun and its more alert. You wont regret it. Its worth every penny.

Have your 2008 software flashed to 231E or higher -- basically late 2012 or newer. It will make a difference. And it is factory. Just did this myself. Any shop with an autologic tool can do this.

Sims work fine if you can find them. Not sure there are any available. The Akra Delete-R won't allow readiness so you will not pass OBD2 plug in inspection but will turn off the CEL. The BMP DP Fix is no longer available. A couple of companies sell "mini cat" 02 extenders that supposedly work, but I have yet to read any feedback from actual users on these cars. I tried a set of 02 extenders from Vibrant and they did not work, but they had only restrictor fittings and not mini cats.

For performance, I would go with an Epic tune. At least go with something you can find real dynos of rather than just people saying their car runs great. I call those butt dynos. My car feels faster after I spend money on a mod or even after I wash it. I'll sell you a car wash for $1000.
