Resetting ECU Adaptions

Okay Guys and Gals,

I have searched and have not found a clear answer, so I come to ask. I recently replaced all 8 coils and spark plugs. Car feels like is slightly down on power, i mean 5% or so. It very well could be just my head or maybe the slightly hotter temps recently (80 degrees or so). I have the Evolve Software and there is an Option to reset Adaptions. Would this do anything to help? or if not can some one explain what resetting the Adaptions does?

In the Evolve-R Software you go into read codes and then there is a clear adaptions

I understand how to do the clear, my questions is what exactly does it do and would it help the situation described above.

Sure, the ECU has stored offsets based on your driving style and perhaps minor issues with the car. Reset adaptions is fine. I do it a couple of times a year.

You should be able to achieve this with just INPA alone. No need for a $1000 tune kit.
I could do it in my e46, but I haven't tried with the e92 m3 yet.

It was under Engine, then in this case 8 cylinder, then find which one is for S65. Once you activate the program there will be an adaptation section, and a clear button.

If it's in German, look for the word Alle which means All.

Yeah don't have INPA, already have the tune.
