Vibration in seat while accelerating/revving

I have noticed this slight vibration/shuddering since I have purchased my M. It's a 2011 6MT w/33k miles. No performance or suspension modifications. Here are some things I have observed...

- In first and second gear, lower RPMs (under 4k), upon medium to heavy acceleration, I can feel a slight vibration in the seat. It's almost a slight shaking. Nothing violent, but it's there. Does not happen in any other gear or RPM.

- I seem to feel the same vibration in the seat upon cold start. But goes away once the idle drops and car warms up. But, even when the car is completely warmed up, I can sometimes duplicate the vibration by revving the engine while sitting still.

- The vibration might also be coming from the rear. Nothing is felt in the steering wheel or front of the car.

From all of this, I am starting to think it might be something related to mounts, or maybe even exhaust hanger related? Other than this, the car drives perfectly... pulls strong, idles good, starts are smooth, etc.

Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Are you complaining or boasting? I would enjoy massaging seats

Is exhaust modified? I had vibration with challenge sport center section and had to change crossmember mounting to alow extra room.

Get it on jack stands or lift with it running at cold start and see if anything is apparent. Heat shield material or something may contact the exhaust.

Thanks guys. Car only has 33k miles, but I have seen premature failures on mounts before.

How similar is the e9x M3 driveline to the e46 M3? It seems that most of my searching pulls up stuff with the e46 and center bearing and guibo causing vibrations like this. Although, those wouldn't be linked to experiencing this while the car is also stationary and revving.

If its the motor mounts you will feel vibrations in the steering wheel as well as the seats.
