Stage 2 Evolve Experience
A few days ago I had my car remapped to Stage 2 by Evolve. (I’d been running the Evolve Primary Decat pipes for a while without map)
To be honest, the car drove beautifully with just the test pipes but the EML light on the dash was starting to do my head in given I had got the car to a high standard. I made a review of when I had the test pipes fitted here: http://forums.m3cutters.co.uk/showthread.php?t=88648 Here is more info on them: http://forums.m3cutters.co.uk/showth...t=90553&page=2 So in short, I was only getting the map done to basically remove the EML light and also because it just felt like the car was ‘unfinished.’ 60 minutes later I was on my way home.. I really didn’t think there would be a big change in power/drive-ability as it was already a big improvement over stock, but I can honestly say its rapid now! Everything seems more ‘urgent’, everything that was smooth and raw pre-remap, is now more smooth and more raw (if that makes sense!) 2.5k revs…boom then 4k revs…boom…6k revs…boom. Relentless to the redline. I’m currently running an OEM rear section as I stupidly sold my Eisenmann Race a few months back, but since the remap the exhaust note sounds different now as well, louder and more purposeful. I got the Cold Start removed as I will be picking up an Akrapović Slip On/MPE or Valvetronic exhaust soon. All in all, it feels great and is a massive upgrade from stock. I’d highly recommend it to anyone thinking their M3 lacks a bit of ‘oomph.' This package hits the nail on the head and turns the car into a ‘proper M3.' Can’t wait to get my V2 Electric steering wheel on, coupled with the new found performance and exhaust system should be epic Here is the dyne graph for those that are interested: |
