good 😀 I'm excited to read of your results. I want the Velaforza and have an Akra slip on but am thinking of making that switch to the Corsa for sonic reasons. I suspect the Corsa with a catted Velaforza sounds amazing, it's just a question of how much power puts down ðŸ‘

May just end up with Gintani midsection after the year long disappointment that was a wait for nothing. Should produce similar power with its merge placed similar to MRF.

I'm allocated a finite amount of time on earth, and I've realized that I should try to spend it efficiently, as I'm not getting it back. As such, for the most part, I'm a pretty patient dude. Quote:

Wanted to chime in on smell. I just did the switch from Challenge Race X pipe(catless with one set of resonators) to Akra Evo X pipe(HFC and one set of resonators). Rear section is Corsa.
Sound: With the catless x pipe, the sound was amazing. Every time I'm in a tunnel, or better yet stopped at a tool booth(slightly tunneled) and taking off, it reminds me of the good ol' 8 cylinder F1 cars. However there was obvious drone at 2-2.2k and around 3k rpm. Was tolerable for a youngin but it's there. The volume is also high. Downshifting attracted a crap load of attention. I use a speed shop for some stuff and they support track dedicated Porsches. This setup rivaled the off-road only machines. After the swap, I thought my ears were plugged. Talk about quiet. I thought I made a mistake. However, after 20 or so miles, the volume increased. Louder than stock but not race car loud. Absolutely no drone. I take that back. Same drone as stock(minimal). I drove a buddy's stock setup(in cabin and following behind in both setups) and I'm in love with this setup. It's not boomy like the Challenge Race and still amazing when pushed. Smell: The Challenge Race is bad. Holy crap it's bad. The Akra has no smell. I even closed my garage door and ran it for a minute or two(not long for obvious reasons) cause I thought wind was just blowing it away. Nadah, zip, zilch. This is one of the main reasons for switching. No idea what the difference in power is. I'm supercharged(and finally sorting out boost leak issues) so I'm not overly concerned about 10-30 hp :P |

I have a MPE and looking for a bit more sound with a quad resonator X pipe. Either Dinan or Gintani X pipe. |

I ran the AA HFC x-pipe for a short while and I didn't notice any smell compared to stock x-pipe. You get the best of both worlds in my opinion, 90-05% of the gains and no smell.
