ESS can be very slippery at times when you need support... but honestly id never ever have dropped 30k on something to not have any backup , WHO would?? its all to easy for the no warranty card to be thrown in the event the shit hits the fan, but imo that car should NEVER have left norway without the all important gauges... and for ess to NOT install them on a build of this level just doesn't sit right, none of us will ever know where the damage happened later or on the way home, so theirs no point speculating.....
Theirs definite right and wrong here... but ESS...... you have to own some of the shit too sadly..... This guys clearly been a solid customer..... Do what you need to do and lock down the thread, its damaging for your business.

And moving forward maybe ess should stop offering the VT3 until your confident enough in the product to offer support / warranty..... Lets face it, to offer no warranty tells a large story in itself.... imo of course.

The car is born again!!!

So, a week ago the car was finished here in Russian workshop and I've already passed 300 kms and changed engine oil...)))

To cut it short, ALL is simply fine

What was done:

1. Engine:

- new (used, but in perfect condition) Alusil OEM block;
- got 2 vt3 pistons from Regular Guy = THANK YOU, Bro!!!
- 8 new Mahle piston rings;
- 702/703 WPC treated rod bearings;
- new OEM all green main bearings matched to the newly polished OEM crankshaft;
- upgraded valve springs kit;
- head studs kit;
- Cometic head gasket.

2. Fuel system:

- ESS fuel system was simply a piece of s.... just went to waste. Fully!

- Absolutely new full fuel system was installed!!! Every part of it was changed compare to ESS one, including operating principle... The car is working so stable now!!! AFR is so rich and fuel pressure is extremely stable and strong!

3. Awron Gauge DGA Kompressor 2 was installed!!! all is under control every second!

Lots of photos of what bullshit I had from ESS re fuel system I paid 5,000$ for and what I have now are coming

Also, the main reason of that VT3 engine failure was found.... Simply, unbelievable fuck up...

So, now the car is again in break in period! 15,000$ I've spent to repair and upgrade it during last month... ESS was just simply silent on anything from January

Thank you to ALL the guys from M3post who were so kind to help me!!!!

Without your help this car could not have a chance to become alive!!!

Please follow the break in instructions this time. And if you find that it's running odds, don't drive on it more until you fix it. Now let's get some vids of this baby when you can. You must be pretty excited to be back on the road.

Thank you! But no need in such advices - I always follow break in procedures VERY strictly!!! In autumn my VT3 car was simply damaged at ESS dyno while making that 50 test dyno runs... It is 100% fact!

Good on ESS for rectifying the problem even with the attack they were receiving. I'll definitely be looking into an ESS kit myself considering we're neighbors!

If I break 3 of my engines, I'll be at your guys' doorstep, not M3post. (;

Kidding!

Bro, you are missing something re ESS support... They have no relation either to the recovery of the car ZERO!!!! They are just bla-bla-bla forum guys, but in reality completely fucked me off with the car they ruined themselves at their dyno

VT3 is ESS terminology used for the upgrade of VT2 project from 8 to 14 psi of boost by respectively modifying engine internals, adding standalone fuel system and using the set of different SC and crank pulleys... And soft, of course.

What I have now:

1. Completely rebuilt engine with some parts which ESS did not install.

2. Absolutely different fuel system where the only ESS part are 8 Bosch injectors

3. ESS pulleys set.

4. ESS VT3 soft.

5. All other VT2 parts.

So, it is now VT3 as it should have been in November

The car is in break in period now and first hard pulls I expect to perform mid-April only

I know what the VT3 is, i was just confused as to why you stayed with ESS if you had so many issues. I would think you would have gone with a completely different setup all together.
