Great day, managed to go 2.6 seconds faster than I've done with the ///M at my home track
. Much more comfortable with the car now. No idea why Dashware keeps rounding out lap-times, video says 1:42.980 and Aim SOLO-DL says 1:42.875, screenshot below.EDIT# 1 Added compilation videos (Videos may be processing, they will be available and in HD soon) ------ Thanks for looking! ---BEST LAP-- Car: E92 M3 DCT Track: Homestead-Miami Speedway (HMS) Best lap: 1:42.875 with AIM SOLO-DL Brakes: ST-40 Front with PAGID RS29, Stock Rear (Pagid RS19) Suspension: Stock EDC (Swift Springs) no PINs -1.7 camber Tires: NT-01 275/35/18 All Around on Apex 18x10 EC-7 Lap Screenshot ![]() --END LAP-- VIDEOS BEST LAP - YOUTUBE BEST LAP - VIMEO COMPILATION #1 Compilation of me passing, getting passed and a few full laps. YOUTUBE VIMEO COMPILATION #2 Three best laps from each session (3 of them) except for the last one, that has 4 or 5 best laps. The best laps are towards the middle-end of the video. YOUTUBE VIMEO PICTURES ![]() ![]() EDIT #2 I should add, this was my first time running Mobil-1 0w40 at the track, been running it on the street for a few months. Car felt great, runs a few degrees cooler, not much, but cooler is better even if only 1 degree. From what I can tell in the exports, it's about 5-6 degrees. No excess oil burning, had to add 1/4 qt like normal after the day, but this is nothing new. I'm quite pleased how it held up and how the car performed all day long.

You're moving! nice work. As far as the lap time discrepancy, the slower one must be more accurate.

Good to hear. You like them from the first session and did they get better? think I told you I didn't like them first time out. What pressures did you run?
Pagids are holding up I assume.

Tried 38psi in the front as well, but was under-steering some, 37psi was "almost" the perfect balance for me. The Pagids are about 3/4 done after yesterday .. lol, so maybe 3 days out of them, much better still than one day. Homestead is heavier and harder on breaks than people think though, just like Sebring. PBIR in that regard is extremely light on brakes.

Yep, that's exactly where I've settled on pressures. I think they're more sensitive to pressures than other similar tires, i.e. a few psi creates a dramatic change in character. At 35 they felt really quite sloppy to me.
3/4 gone after 3 days! Consider installing some titanium backing plates then. I ran my first set of Pagids down pretty low and cooked the dust boots. I know they're not particularly vital for function, but in my communications with Stoptech they walked a line between that and suggesting that there is a much greater chance of compromising seals without. So might as well keep them whole.

I may just get a custom brake duct done and see if that helps as well.

Nice video. How did you like your st-40 kit? Is it it much better than stock brakes? I am also thinking to get st-40 kit front only but probably will go for trophy kit. Less unsprung weight.

I dont' think they actually lose anything, it just feels weird, the double contact of piston to plate to pad, hard to explain.
