Hey drew through a Dinan 3.62 diff in that DCT of yours. That could help!

I'm not sure what the verdict is on gears for the E9X M3.

Not sure I would play with gearing on the M. Taller and your not in the meaty portion enough, shorter and it will make traction that much harder.

Have you thought about a 17" drag tire combo? Probably the best way to combat the traction issue, and give some wiggle room for slightly different gearing without a full diff swap/drastic change

I think that's a good call, the EAS VT625 was running that setup, I know Terry runs that on all his cars, and he always does well, if I go again this year that's most likely what I would try.

Nice work! Not too shabby for no launch control or burn out! You've got way more in her! It's gonna be a good spring!

I know I said I'm done drag racing but I'll head out again with you if you install a LL and some 17's with slicks bro!

What setup is that? I thought 17"s wont fit the M without swapping out brakes? I didnt know it has been tried before, just thinking your car needs it and should look into it.

@EAS can you answer that possibly?

we're using an old set of Kosei K1s with OEM rear calipers, the AP BBK had to be removed for the drags.

Smmmmokin! Once you get it figured out I predict low 10s on 18" ET Streets no problem.

Switch to 17s if/when you need them ;-) There are some vids on YT of full weight Mustangs and Vettes cutting crazy 1.4x short times on 18" drag radials.

Thanks Mike, I really appreciate that! It's great to hear feedback, great info, etc. from an enthusiast that knows Drag Racing, and racing in general. Also Klevis, hit a 1.6 on those 18" MT streets!

Awesome Drew!
It's unbelievable when you look at the trap speed.
Drag racing is like golf...Once something goes right, another thing goes wrong.
The thing that kills me about drag racing is the day after when I hit the "should've would've syndrome."
I see a 10.3 to 10.4 in the future.
