A GTR went from the high 70's to now close to a 120 with the track pack, and a fully loaded Cayman/Boxster is pushing over 100. A stripped down 991GT3 will cost over 140, so even at 100k the new Z06 will be a relative bargain.
There has been a video from car&driver stating a fully optioned Z06 will be under $100k.

Used C6 ZO6

I'm hoping everyone starts buying one of these, as it is the C6ZO6 can be bought for 48K for a low mile car. I'm sure once the new one is released the price will decrease even more.

I can't justify spending a ton of money on a car only to take out parts and replace them with expensive track oriented parts. I don't need to be driving the newest car out on the track, hence the E46 M3 I just bought.

Even harder for me is buying a track oriented car, like the Zo6, and only racing it stop light to stop light or only on the way to work. But then again I don't have the means to afford 80k+ cars every other year.

I'm just jealous I can't afford this car. Financially or practically.

Too much plastic in the interior, leaf springs, supercharger, heatsoak, limp mode, convertible, automatic transmission
(Honestly Im kidding, I love this car)
