The fronts are nearly as bad...but I would think that BW would make them so you didn't have to remove them.

I removed the hubs to install the GT4 ones on my E92. It is not hard, but you need to be mechanically inclined and have air tools.

I think those bolts also have lock tite on them. I chase them through a die to get it all off and reapply fresh lock tite. The dealer will claim they must be replaced.

I meant to say that the fronts aren't as bad. You won't have a seized axle to deal with unlike the rears.

I have the SIR B90 wheel bearing tool kit which has a hub puller/press on it. Not 100% sure if it will work on the front axle of an E9X M3...but you're welcome to try. You could try and call SIR tools and ask first.

PM me if you're interested. No charge to you for being patient with the rotors. Just need a deposit.

No special tools are needed to install it. Just undo the bolts from behind which are not all easy to access.

Like the rest of the guys said. Remove the 4 bolts on the back side of the hub and it comes right out. Then you can install the cooling ducts. The bolts are not very easy to access...probably have to loosen the pinch bolt and slide the strut up out of the carrier. Yes, the bolts have loctite on them and an impact will make your life easier when removing them.
Also be prepared to do a bit of trimming on the carbon backing plates....fit is close, but not perfect.

I did not have to loosen the pinch bolt or slide the strut. Just the 4 bolts from behind and it pops out. I had a 600 ftlb impact though and had to use some u-joints on the impact sockets to get in there. I might have had to do one by hand, but it can be done.

BW wanted to separate the racers from the posers. They should make BBKs this hard to install.

Nice wing....thinking purchasing that one soon though it might not be wide enough for me. (sorry for the thread jack)

Continuing thread jack...
The new BW wing really is a nice piece. Rock solid uprights/mounting plates, very light, and a large range of height and AOA adjustment.
The profile is incredibly efficient at creating significant downforce at a very low AOA, and that translates into less drag. My testing on my E92 has shown that the advantages to the new wing are definitely there.
Can't imagine how this wing wouldn't be wide enough for you. I run it flat and it supplies all the downforce I need...
PM me if you would like to discuss further.
...End of thread jack.

Good to know for future buyers/installers. I installed mine during the build of the race car, so everything was apart anyway which made it much simpler.
