Denk, what did you say? Uh, again please.

I definitely want to switch. I just don't want to have to stick my head out the window or drive in tunnels to be reminded that I am not in a Volvo. But seriously, I hope to soon experience an MPE from the inside.

Friends and acquaintances ask why in the world would I want to change the AA exhaust. They actually wonder if I am crazy because it sounds sooo damn sexy! Yeah, that's the word everyone uses - badass and sexy.
There is something wrong when someone has to let me know how the exhaust sounds!
But again, it is about a better inside experience for me. It doesn't have to be loud, but I should NOT have to stick my head out the window brand search for it. And I don't car about how it sounds outside. Even the posters her want to order DVDs so they can here how their car sounds. Hehehe.

LOL, I'm convinced all the people who claim their exhaust isn't loud enough are deaf. The MPE is plenty loud for me!
Actuall alee it doesn't have to be very loud to overtake the airbox. But I get you and Denk. I remember when I was able to listen to the whine from the engine which is now no longer audible.

No back to rod bearing worries. I may have no use for an exhaust.

My perspective is from inside the cabin. I do know how it'll sound from outside as I have yet to get someone to do a drive by for me to hear. However with both windows down and in the tunnel, the sound seems to concur with the cabin sound (windows up).

I received this sale notice too and am tempted to buy one, but the price is still high. One thing that I noticed was the asterix (*) after the $3499. If you look at the bottom of the card, it states that the reatailer may sell for less. The sale represents a 13% discount. It wouldn't be out of line to ask for an additional 2-7% off as that would make it a 15-20% total reduction. THAT would be a good sale price!
