specific question about RPMs
so i have the Dinan diff which means at like 3600-4000 rpm i am going highway speeds, say 78 mph. i just recently removed my MPE because in that specific range, there is some pressure in the pipes and a tremendous drone in the car that i just could not take. my question is do you guys think that this would be the case for EVERY exhaust i get in this range?
keep in mind i am going for something slightly louder than my OEM set up, but nothign crazy like gintani or such. i was wondering if the dinan x pipe with stock muffler was crazy. hard part is that drone (or maybe not drone but whatever it is) right in that specific range. thanks guys

wow, first I've heard of the MPE exhaust having tremendous drone. Every exhaust will have different resonating frequencies, so no, there could be a different RPM window where you experience this with another exhaust.

it was very surprising to me as well, since i bought that specifically because people told me there was no drone. i even had them look at the fitting to see if maybe there was a loose bolt or some such in there. no luck.
