I know I am really interested in this proposition. Otherwise I would never spend the cash on those seats. Mostly bc girlfriend would kill me. And these seats are always a high market item to sell.

VF kits on the other hand...not so much.

It's completely up to you, but my preference (strictly look-wise, haven't sat in those performance seats) is for the stock seats. They certainly look cool, but I would imagine you can get $3500+ for your VF kit, so that means you're paying $5500+ for seats? No thanks, but it is your car

Is the kit off of your car btw? Have you tried the BMS downpipe fix? They stopped selling it recently, but now that I think about it, it might fix your inspection issue. I have one not installed and would be willing to lend it to you for experimentation purposes (plan on using it once I get primary cat delete). How about contacting Bren tuning? I talked to one of his reps at a show and Bren personally owns an m3, so I think he can code the car so it passes inspection.

anyone going to bmw day at larz?

Blower is off the car. Has been for a while. I did not want to partake in VF antics and smoke and mirrors any longer. No longer any inspection issues now with ESS products. Properly tuned.

Believe me been trying to sell it. Unfortunately many are trying to look at alternatives in tuning and stay away from the VF Software, but that can get expensive and many have hard budgets.

The seats would have been a trade plus cash which was going to be a difference of 2k. I would not consider buying 6k+ seats, but now with this price it's much more entertaining.

For the blower I have a hard price of 3800 as a minimum. Still no one will consider because of the uncertainty of their software.

The hardware itself is sound, right? BPM seems to do great tunes, and when exploring the SC option I remember speaking to Mike Benvo over the phone and him saying that he does in fact tune SC cars. In fact I know Bren Tuning is running an ESS kit but has his own custom tune on his car.

Maybe put in your ad that you do not have to buy a VF engineering tune and can instead buy a Bren tune or BPM tune?

BSMACK thanks. It's up to the potential buyer what they want to do with the tune at the end of the day. If its a custom tune the car needs to most likely be onsite for that tuner. This someone buying out of MA can be a challenge.

Hardware is sound and functional. It's the software that has glitches. Who knows maybe VF has Had enough of the same issues from owners and has now fixed it.

For their sake I hope that they have.

Cool, shoot me a PM. I am now annoyed with the intro/warning when you turn the car on and the gas at 80 miles left light. Annoying. I should have had EAS do this as well.

Saw a all stock E92 335 a couple days ago in Bar Harbor. Was a lady in her early 40s with her husband. Mass plates.

The stock yellow halos look so old. LOL Yuck!

My wife and I are celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary with a trip to Boston next weekend. Just wondering if there are any regular gatherings in the area where car guys meet up (like a cars and coffee?).

Hope to see some of you around town. I will be driving the LMB M3 with the Ontario Plates.
