See your kit is still for sale. So is mine. Been tough to get rid of. I am going to either trade it or sell it for alot less than you and I both know we want for ours. Tough going on these things. |

I have a 540 kit and for the price you're asking, it's the best HP/dollar value on M3post!
SouthShoreM3, it's no wonder you can't sell yours after creating numerous threads about how unhappy you were with your kit and all the problems you had. I am problem and error free with mine from day 1. The only problem I have with mine is that I want to upgrade now. Good luck! |

I have since then (6 months), been to 6 track events. Most of them being SpeedDistrict.com events, which are basically two track days in one. On top of that, three of these track days were at Big Willow... Where hitting 120-150+mph is an easy task (at least with the charger). There are a few things to note, which is basic knowledge: 1. You will experience heat soak on hot days, and this SIGNIFICANTLY effects the power output. (obviously, this is a problem EVERYONE faces) 2. Spark plugs should be changed often if you track the car often. I have changed mine at 37k miles, and I am about to change it again before the Fall as I approach 48k miles. 3. Charger oil should be changed often if you track the car, I'd say every 3-5 track days or 7500 miles (I am anal). 4. Always use race fuel when tracking the car, which means a track day will cost you 150-200$ in fuel (@ ~9.99 a gallon for 100 octane). The only problem now is fuel/brake/tire consumption, which a charger does NOT help with. But that's why they are such a blast. It is also worth nothing, that I drive this car 22,000 miles a year daily all over Southern California. It is my daily driver, my grocery getter, my weekend getaway car, and my mistress. |
