I don't think a stock turbo 335 can beat a 458, the car traps +130mph! Last edited by Alex07M3; 07-22-2013 at 01:39 PM.. |

Nope, this same exact 458. Earlier in the night I ran with Skooterbrah and the 458 and pulled the 458 pretty hard. The videos above were from later that night. Altitude is a major factor.

At a mile high I bet the 458 couldn't trap 115. A stock turbo 335 with a tune, downpipes, filter and water/meth should have the power at 5,000+ feet to do that.
Although the 335 would need traction mods (LSD, sticky tires, etc) to get the 458 from a dig.

I know an N/A car is more affected then a turbo car, but to the point a stock turbo 335 would pass a 458, that surprise me a lot, that's it! As for the supercharged cars being less affected then N/A cars, I would expect an ESS car to be more affected by altitude then the usual car that is supercharged from the factory. With the ESS kit, the blower always spins at the same speed no matter the density of the air, which means our car can have a big variation in boost depending on the altitude! I'm no expert but that's the way I see it! And please, don't worry for me, I live in the same reality as everyone that knows a bit about cars! Last edited by Alex07M3; 07-23-2013 at 01:46 AM.. |

As for factory supercharged cars, like an S4, they have target boost just like turbo cars, so the computer will compensate for thin air by making the blower spin faster to produce that target boost, no!? : Maybe I'm beside the track here but if so drop your poutine and explain! |

I'm not doubting COMplex but he said that stock turbo and a tune will do the job to beat a 458, I'd really like to know what mods he has and how much hp! |

Superchargers all suffer less than an NA application, but I'm sure there is some variance between the units. There's still a lower barometric pressure, so boost pressure will still be lower across the board. You can have my poutine when you pry it from my cold dead fingers. That stuff is tough to come by. 1MOREMOD had to smuggle it in from Mehico in his man cave |
