Purchased frozen black 2011
After days of contemplating a purchase of a 2011 Frozen Black M3 with 15000km on the clock I decided to sign on the dotted line today. My option was to purchase a brand new Pure Edition but the Frozen Black just looks the goods, hopefully I have made the correct decision. The dealer has given me 3 years warranty and the next service free of charge. Welcome some feed back relating to the Frozen Black

I have a 2013 M5 Frozen gray. I live in Florida(USA). Agree keep the bugs off but you'd do this with gloss paint as well. I carry some microfiber clothes and Swissvax matt quick detail spray. Anytime I am concerned about bugs or water spots I just spray some on and wipe it off. The key is to buy Matte detail products I use Swissvax and Dr. Beasley Matte products. They both have matte wax and protectants. Swissvax wax actually makes the water bead up just as if it was gloss paint. You just never let the product dry on the paint. I usually wash the car every 2 to 3 weeks.
The only thing I am careful in doing is parking the vehicle so that it doesn't get any door dings or scratches. I don't run it through a car wash as I never know what is going to happen. Overall it is easy to take care of just wash and dry. The Frozen gray does not show dirt. Hope this helps |

+1 for Dr Beasley matte paint products. It's not near as delicate as people make it out to be - and most of them are talking out of their asses, repeating misinformation they've heard not experienced.

Yeah I know how excited and anxious you are right now! I couldn't sleep when I got back from Deployment and had to go pick mine up from the dealer. Just dropped her off yesterday to get Cilajet done on her and missing her so much. Driving an F30 328 and is so under power for me!!! LOl

Congrats, I love the frozen colors. I was debating purchasing a frozen blue but ended up buying a AW after much thought. Just got mine delivered from Germany yesterday. I heard a lady say "When are they gonna finish painting this car?" while staring curiously at the frozen blue, i thought that was pretty funny! Enjoy your new whip man
