M3 Headlights
Hello. I am interested in changing the original headlights of my 2013 M3 ( they are not xenon or led ), and have a yellowish color.
I believe the 335 has the bright white headlights. Can anyone please help me in finding this headlights or has a reference or part number to order them ? Thank you |

Are you talking about headlights or angel eyes? At least in the US, xenon headlights are standard, though since you're apparently in Colombia I suppose you could have halogen headlights?
If you want to replace the headlights, I'd recommend going to RealOEM.com and looking up the correct part number for OEM xenon headlights; there are different ones based on left-hand drive and right-hand drive, fyi, and you'll also need to get your car coded to support the different style of headlights. If you want to replace your yellowish angel eyes, Lux seems to be the most popular aftermarket replacement. There are no OEM white angel eyes for the M3, and I don't think the ones from the 2012 335i Coupe will fit.

The 335 you are talking about is 2010+ LCI model with bright white angel eyes. The only problem is that the entire assembly has a completely different design. You cannot just install them, they will not fit. The 2010+ M3 did not change headlights like the other 3-Series Coupes of that year. So to be clear all M3 production and pre-LCI 3 Series Coupes have the same lights.
Leave your headlight assemblies alone and get a White Angle Eye Conversion Kit. There are a few kits out there that will give you a bright white look that you want. - Alpine HID (brightest) - LUX H8 (very bright) - iBright If you want a OEM super bright look you are better off contacting OSS (Luis) and he will literally replace your angel eye system. He is known as one of the best. You will get new rings with a new light source that will be as white and bright as the newest OEM BMW corona-style angel eyes. He can also get creative and offer you some other options. You will have to ship him your headlight assemblies so he can do a professional installation. Sounds like you are willing to spend properly to get what you want... this is your best bet. |

The Alpine, Lux and iBright simply just changes the color of the rings. I've very disappointed with mine. In the daytime, you can't even see that's it's on, which makes sense as these light sources has the same color temperature as sunlight. You'll need a system get actually turns the light source a more blue color. |

It's been said that the Lux 6500k kit have a bluish tint to them which is pretty obvious at 6500K color temperature. Is there any products out there with a pure white color?

I had LUX in my 335 which I carried over to the M. They look fantastic, day or night. Mine were the originals before they offered color variations, so I guess I don't know which color temp they are. Too lazy to look
I would add that I like them specifically because they don't look like EITHER the crap-ass stock bulbs or the LCI angels, which I think are sort of obnoxiously bright and kind of purple-ish looking at times. The LUX look like something different - to me that's the point. (PS - the HID angels are way too damn bright for my liking - I've seen them in person many times)

I just installed angelibright v4.5 on my e92 m3. It is pure white but I think it lacks brightness in daytime. I haven't seen LUX in person but I guess the LUX is way brighter from the pics I have seen. Plus the LUX is cheaper.

Looks like the 5000k are on sale for $230. I had the 6500k on my 335i, too blue/green IMHO, they looked weird compared to the headlamp. 5000k is a much better match. |

Agreed, but as I specified in my post, the OEM option I was referring to was if the OP was trying to get xenon headlamps, NOT aftermarket angel eyes since it wasn't clear in the original post and I wasn't sure whether Colombian-spec M3s might not come with xenons standard.

LUX isn't any brighter. In the daytime neither the LUX nor the AiB will be bright enough for what the OP wants.
