Not exactly "Gone in 60 seconds", huh? Glad this story didn't end tragically.

Only had MT cars since '92.
Since this car's for your business though would prob stick with auto trans...may as well get the most use out of it and least headache. We all know if you get the hankering to drive a MT you already have a much better option. How about getting a cheap auto vert so would be fun loaner and also for your wife to be able to drive? The real question is does your wife drive MT!? |

I learned to drive a MT at 14yrs on my uncle's 1979 280zx. Thought it was the coolest car ever. Every car since that I purchased for my self other than family haulers has been a MT car. I have to admit though that I want own a serious double clutch sports car like the GT-R some day.

I can drive manual... But stop n go traffic in the area would make it a pain. Also depends on the car. When I test drove the AM V12 Vantage w manual, it was a tragedy as it was so clunky and the V8 automatic was a generations behind my ex M w dct. I'm sure a Porsche would much different.

I've seen a bunch of those "Thieves can't steal MT car," news stories lately.
Make me feel old... and I'm NOT that old! Surprises me how many millennials never learned to drive stick. On a side note, what self respecting car thief can't drive a manual? Seems to me you'd be cutting out of your profit margin. Thieves these days. I tell ya, back in the day sonny boy...

First taught by my husband, who has taught by his friend... x 15 min.
He caught on well, but I never managed to drive very well and so gave it up. THEN I started taking lessons from a pro and great teacher. When you learn well, while understanding the physics behind it, it is EASY and FUN! Now I'm a CONVERT.
