Just offered $500 below invoice on ordered M3
Do any of you believe that invoice is really what the dealer pays? Is there holdback? I know the dealers have $750 in repeat customer money. I have purchased 4 cars from this dealer already (over the last 4 years). I was wondering if I offered to much and could drive a harder bargin. Thanks for any input.

I have never seen prices lower than what I got mine from Steve Thomas for. I would definitely call/email around.

Damn... and to think back in 2008 I was thrilled to get 1K under MSRP!
And from the same dealer that I purchased a 7 series, and E60 M5. |

Yes there is usually dealer holdback for prep work and detailing. My understanding is that it can be anywhere between $500 to 1K.
You want to see a sales manager get pissed? Ask them to dip into their holdback. |
