Am I Too Fat for my M3?
Every time I get in my car, my pants/belt get caught a bit on the side bolstering causing the leather to slightly scuff.
Am I too fat for my M3? Should I buy a giant SUV instead? Please discuss. |

You're only "too fat" if such a thing bothers you. If you can't get over the fact that you scuff the leather, then you're too fat. If you're just like "eh, it's just scuffed leather; that doesn't really bother me, meh. I can still enjoy everything else about the car, which is much more important" then you're not too fat.

Lose the fat, keep the car.

Not sure if you are trolling here...but are we supposed to guess if you are fat or not? and if you should get an SUV instead?
Height, weight, BMI? Everytime I get in and out, I have to do some acrobatics to avoid rubbing the side bolster and I am far from fat..small price to pay though for such nice seats |

If you have to ask, you're probably too fat. IMO, you're better off losing the weight than getting an SUV.

I'm only 5'6", 150lbs, and I still occasionally scuff the seat when I get in. I do have a close seating position though, so that may be it.
I'll usually move the seat back before I get out of the car, makes it easier to get back in. |
