It seems to get rid of red pixels.
Too much and you lose detail, but Luminescence crushes details even worse.

Very limited DOF, yet you got the important parts in focus. Not easy.

Cool shot, panicos. Nicely executed.
This is a fountain inside the Salisbury Cathedral. Amazing reflections.

Mark, I'm leaving for parts North (Cumbria, Yorkshire) and have been reading about rains and flooding. Have you experienced any of that?
Nice shot of Big Ben from a non-traditional perspective. Dave

Dave, we haven't seen much flooding, but we've been watching the nasty floods up north on TV.
Not sure if you can get to this page, but here's a map of the flooding. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-19717539 That shot of Big Ben was taken from the foot of Adm. Nelson's statue in Trafalgar Square.

Yeah, the BBC is THE news source over there. I'll just keep my fingers crossed.

It was a sun/clouds day today, but with no rain and none in the forecast. So tonight we foolishly left our hotel room to get dinner without umbrellas. Of course it poured on us on the way back. I'm beginning to wonder if they ever get a full day without rain here.
These storms are the worst September storms in 30 years. Our timing has been impeccable.

I'm afraid that I'll be wearing my Gor-Tex jacket and boots most of the time and struggling to keep a camera dry.
Oh well, we've made several trips to England and have great weather every time. I'm afraid that we pushed our luck too far. Dave
