How did I do on my e90 purchase?
2008 Melbourne Red + Bamboo Novillo extended leather. All options minus DCT and 19's. Not my preferred color combo but the rest of the deal makes up for it.
21k miles, fresh lease return, PS2's with 3k miles on them. The bad: Out of warranty 2 months ago, but was obviously inspected by BMW before lease auction. One FOB, missing air compressor in trunk, and could use a buff job. I paid 39,750 + tax. I haven't had a sports car since my Evo 9 in 2007, and the e90 is my dream car - super excited. Now I need some Tint, Avant Garde 359M's, Megan exhaust, LUX V3's, and I'm good to go! Last edited by kerrit; 07-30-2012 at 07:59 PM.. |

Looking good, and sounds like a great deal. Congrats.
The 323 is just going to have to be jealous.

$39k for a 2009 in that shape is pretty good. All that matters is whether you are comfortable. Congrats.
Just curious, why is it out of warranty? You don't have enough miles and if it's an '09 you should have some time left.

As long as you are happy with the price, that's all that matters. Hearing that someone else in another part of the country got a slightly better deal isn't going to improve your ownership experience. Enjoy the car, and don't worry about the deal after the fact.

The cars in the states are so cheap compared to what we pay here (166k Euros base price).
But the thing is, if you're perception about what you paid is good, the rest doesn't matter. Rims, Exhausts, Brakes etc etc etc are all changeable.

Congrats!
I work right next door to the lot that was selling this car. I was wondering why it was no longer there anymore. I used to stare out the window at it while re-filling my coffee.
You got a great deal, considering our area, and how stubborn our dealerships are in terms of pricing and haggling.
