windshield repair
I got a chip in my windshield on the BMW CCA drive last week. Actually a rock thrown up by SID :-) .. anyway, state farm has basically giving me 3 choices for repair. Glass doctor, safelite, and novus glass. Anyone have any experience with any of these? Recommend someone else? It is on the driver side, almost in my direct vision, so I am really concerned about getting this repaired at the highest quality..
thanks guys! |

repaired
I got my windshield repaired via Novus Glass on College in Fort Collins. Here are the results. Not bad, not perfect, but glass repair will never result in 100% clarity. The results for right after the repair, and apparently it could get a little less muddy over time.

FWIW, I've used the little kits sold at auto parts stores with similar success. They do the job in a pinch.
