how much did you enjoy your lux v3s?
saw the thread about the new 5000k lux v3's and had everything checked out but hesitated and told myself I would sleep on it. Just wanted to know if this is one of those smaller mods you end up really loving ( black kidneys grills and reflectors were subtle but ended up really changing the car in my eyes)

I just installed mine yesterday, excited but haven't driven the car since... I'll let you know. I may even go for a drive tonight still, just to see them in full effect.

I love them
Easy to install vs HID looks oem No issues Well worth the cost And that's something rare in the overpriced M market

Very much? I find myself inching up on darker cars at stoplights so I can see them in the reflection. I have the original 6K and don't think they are blue at all, but maybe a touch whiter than the headlights.
My friend has the GP Thunders and there is no comparison, they are about 20x cheaper and look it. |

Very happy. Car should have come this way.
Although install is a tad difficult if you don't have very small hands. I'd suggest using a tool for the final tightening. |

Love mine! Never gets old seeing them come to life or looking at their reflection off other cars in traffic

I loved mine until one burned out after 3 months of use... It took 2 weeks for company to write me back because Every few months its closed for about a month. It's been 3 weeks since I sent it to get repaired and still didn't get them back. Apparently "there is a problem with tracking my package" and they don't know when will I get it...
As far as product, I thinks it's great.. As far as service... I have to say they could do better.

I couldn't be happier or more satisfied. As far as a true plug and play solution, you can't touch these!

I'm pretty happy as well. I find myself often parked in front of large store windows at night, so that when I return to the car, the lights come to life as I light up the engine, reminding me how slick my car looks
That said, I wonder how good / bad the new Alpine HID angel eyes look like in person. They run for $179 / pair, which is cheaper than LUX, but this same reason also worries me a bit. http://www.alpinemss.com/product_p/hidan.htm |
