▀▄ eas | e92 M3 Project - VF620 Supercharger 60-130 Times
Figured we'd give this 60-130 business a try:
We're having a bit of trouble keeping the tires planted during the top of 2nd gear. Runs are starting in 3rd, with 2 shifts, but still able to pull a 7.567 time. Vehicle: 2011 M3, VF620 Supercharged Transmission: DCT Exhaust: Akrapovic Evolution Just to show where we place with some other entries: ---------------------- 7.48 - Acicchelli / Renntech SL65 AMG 7.52 - IMG / E90 M3 / ESS VT625 Supercharged 7.57 - EAS / e92 M3 VF Supercharged 7.58 - PencilGeek / E92 M3 6-MT, RD Sport RS-46 "Stroker" motor and ESS Tuning S/C (6.25psi) 7.59 - Blacksheep / C6 Corvette Z51 (heads/cam, 484 rwhp) / 2-shifts 7.59 - dzenno / '08 335i twin turbo / 1- shift ---------------------- On literally no slope (0.259%), we're seeing a lot of potential here. Better gripping tires and a bit more practice should result in some better times shortly.

Nice work Tom - that thing is moving! I'm resisting this whole 60-130...but it looks like I need to get in the game soon

I'm amazed at a couple things.
1. The slope is positive (going up hill) 2. Starting from 3rd is going to be a loss of acceleration so the times are going to be even better once the traction issues get sorted out.

Nice job Tom!
That's a pretty flat road, and right at sea level but I agree you can improve it even more, just keep at.

Very quick car!
FYI, that is the exact location I ran my 60-130. I think I might have started just a little bit further after the road straightened out. Interesting thing on the elevation. The road definitely goes down just a bit every time I have measured it. Never uphill, as it slopes towards the ocean. But nevertheless, pretty much a flat run in anyone's book, which is impressive. I think with a heavy 2% slope, you could gain up to 1/2 a second. I think I could easily have done a 6.5 sec in the 335i had I elected to run it on a substantial decline. My question on the Vbox racer videos...are these all from varying slopes? If so, it would be hard to make a direct comparison. I absolutely would love to see what the VAC 10.69 sec M3 would do in the 60-130 on a level run. I would assume it would be low 7's like my 335i sedan when it is trapping nearly identical 129mph traps in the qtr.
