Why buy a car that makes all of its power at 8k and above if you never want to take it there? You sound like you should have stuck to the 335 or a c63.

So did you feel bad revving your 335 to 2500k? It made peak torque there and probably put the most stress on the drivetrain at that point. I doubt you limited it to under 2500 for the life of the car

i had the 335 for 11 months and no i didnt limit myself. I just picked up the car last weds. so i want to learn the vehicles mannerisms before i start throttling hard, i like to see what the brakes feel like and how they hold, not to mention its been a very wet ny for a while. its my first m3 and i like to feel my cars out for myself.

That is a different tune than you said above. You said you feel bad taking it to redline and said there is no need to use all the power in the car. Feeling it out is a whole different story

I agree. E9X looks great (almost perfect), but E46 was perfect.

I thought it was Jet. I thought I had made up my mind on color (Azurite, which I find amazing), but I keep wavering and thinking about Jet Black again. It's just very pure... Regardless, it'll be a semi-stripper, single hump.

I like nice jewellery, including automatic watches. High quality, understated pieces. I wear mine almost every day.

I definitely wind her up.

But I still baby her.

Orient blue with a beige interior was the ultimate combination for the 46. I miss that M.

But, really nothing shines like Jet. It's maintenance is lower than matte, but not much. I hand wash her every Saturday. OK, it's a lot lower than matte, but Jet black needs attention too.
