was in love... till I saw the price

So I just did my first mod to my 2 week old baby which were to install black kidney grills. Now I'm debating on a spoiler mod or angelibright angel eyes.
I was sold on getting them till i saw the actual price ($280) I'm new to modifications and was wondering if this is the average price for nice angel eyes. Also, I saw the installation video and while it looks all easy and simple on camera, I wanted to hear other inputs if it really is so easy to install. I had no problems with the kidney grills but thats as far as my mechanical skills go.

Lux are slightly cheaper, $250 I believe. So the answer to your question is yes. There are also more expensive options like OSS. The cheaper options, like GP Thinders, look like ass IMO.

That's about the cheapest mod you can expect... it is a $60K+ car, of course.

I know but I just always imagined changing bulbs to be cheaper. And input on the actual installation??

If you want cheap angel eyes, just get the Thunders. I think they even have LED Thunders now.
I believe some of the HID options are less.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

Kmarei, how much did you turn the Lux after you lined up the 3 prongs? I was able to only turn/tighten then about 30-45 degrees. When I took them off, it turned about 90+ degrees.

OP, like kmarei said, it's not that hard to do if you have small hands which I do not but it was not impossible. I wear med/large gloves.

The videos all show guys doing it in less then 10 minutes. Took me about 45 minutes.
