AutoX and Track Setup (IND Work) Picts & vid
Recently got my car back from having some work done for next season. I had Ground Control sleeve over kits put in, Recaro seats, and Volk TE37 SL wheels with R-compound tires.
I did a compilation video of the 2011 season which you can see on link below. Thanks to this forum and all the knowledgeable people on here that helped me with setups, etc.!!! |

I checked with HMS last week--they said the Quick Fit Pro has been approved for the E9x M3 based on the seatback strength test and will be shipping the first of the year!

Very nice! The guys at IND are great to work with. Hopefully I see you around next rack season. I'm also from the Northern Suburbs of Chicago.

I plan on doing some track days next year. I have never done them before so there is much for me to learn. How long have you been tracking your car? Do you also autox or only track?

I started off in AutoX then slowly progressed to doing more track days. It has just been so long I feel like, so there is no doubt I'll be a tad rusty. I find going to a full road course to be a lot more fun, simply because it lasts much longer and there is more seat time. Because I am not competing for the quickest time of the day like in autocrosses, I tend to drive much more conservatively on the track and slowly build up speed and familiarity. It's definitely a different learning curve, but you gain a ton out of it. There is no doubt you'll enjoy the track days! So hopefully I see ya around town.
