Negatory, i'll stick to my coveted e's thank you....
I mean apparently people are going to be getting the shaft for buying a E with a bodykit and less space.. sucks for them... Funny point is..CLk63 will still top this thing in the performance books, but then again it's rare for a modern benz to outclass a predecessor.. |

Anytime I see a car that is north of 100k, or close to 150k, I can't think but ask this question: Why not GT3/RS?

Lol actually my cute little troll-ish fan-girl. A few cars were excluded from both lists, considering the topic of my post I figure including the M moniker would just evoke the a-typical "You don't know what you're saying Fanboy, look he has an M...fanboy bimmer douche" response.. It's good to know my efforts did not go unnoticed, and i'm very flattered to have you swinging from righty.. In all reality, i try to avoid single make/brand boards because of the perpetual infighting and false information they tend to spread like the plague.. But the overwhelming praise and general lack of understanding what is going on underneath the metal of this car prompted a post or two. |

C63 Black is gonna be sweet... very impressed so far... will be surprising if less than $100K based on last C class black series in '08.
I just need the back seat... wish they could allow that as an 'option'... this would be a great DD! Not sure about that Aero package?

Not everyone wants a track car. The C63 AMG BS still fulfills that practicality aspect of things as you can option the rear seats back into the car.

"The AMG sports suspension is a sophisticated new development. Conceived as a coil-over suspension -- as is the norm in motorsport and a typical feature of Black Series models -- it offers a range of setting options, and allows the driver to create an individual set-up. Track has been widened by 1.57 inches (front) and 3.11 inches (rear). In conjunction with modified anti-roll bars, the C63 AMG Coupe Black Series delivers impressive dynamics, tenacious grip and minimal body roll. The AMG speed-sensitive sports steering facilitates superb vehicle control, with modified mapping of the power assistance for maximum steering precision." |

Thanks for the correction! The BS blows the M3 away really. Mercedes has done an excellent job in creating an M3 killer. Better late then never, right? |

Porsches don't have everything everyone is looking for. I'd get a Z06/ZR1 over a GT3. There's the GT-R in that price range, R8, maybe R8 V10, this Mercedes, V8 Vantage, probably some others I'm forgetting especially used. Something for everyone.

They are unable to by choice. Some buyers in these categories do not care nor want rear seat capability. As much as I really dig this car, I think the M3 would still be more fun and about $30-40k less for a 335 winter rat.

What do you mean by choice? The BS just seems more practical for everyday driving when not using it on a track. Personally, I would like to carry more than one friend. I mean this BS seems to be targeting gt3's and the M3 gts without the wing or with the wing if you prefer to add it in... It can be track tool when you want it to be, but also have room for 3 others.

Can't really compare the M3 to the C63 AMG BS.

Except you probably will be able to, considering the m3 is competative with the CLK63 BS, of which has a better power to weight and more R&D going into it's construction...
Funny, i wonder how much of a difference there will be between a 60k BMW on optioned tires....and a 130,000 dollar "racing benz" |
