Hahahaha this thread is hilarious!! In my current car I'm excited on good days of 21-23. I can't wait to get an M and get teens on the regular. It's gonna be a game to see how low I can get it on a give day... I'm never gonna be so happy to be broke.

i drive in full drive logic (minus the traction control off adding a 6th one), power button on, and it is my daily driver. i average between 13 and 14 typically in town. just took a road trip out to california from az and i hit up around 18-19 on the highway which was satisfying given the hilly drive and head wind. all my driving is always done in full drive logic and power on with exception to the warm up time i first get in the car.

Been getting around 16 mpg 70/30 mixed city/highway. I reset the computer each time I pump and it usually says around 17 mpg at the end, but amount of gas pumped divided by miles driven always comes out to about 1 mpg less than the computer. I drive like a grandma though...

The title of the thread is kinda funny... as if M3 ever gets good gas mileage

When I'm doing almost all freeway for work I get close to 20mpg. Not bad at all I don't think.

15.8mpg... this is still in break-in. I'm sure that number will plummet after 2000km.
Also relevant: http://www.fuelly.com/car/bmw/m3/gas%20v8 One guy on there is averaging 14.8mpg! Yikes!
